Big Wins for Jose Cruz & Sly Williams at the 7th Annual Tahoe Tattoo Show
The 7th Annual Tahoe Tattoo Show was a big weekend for artists Jose Cruz and Sly Williams, who both brought home awards for their incredible work. Together, they snagged 3rd Place for Best Medium Tattoo with a striking collaborative thigh piece that perfectly blended Jose’s black-and-grey realism with Sly’s bold, vibrant color work. Jose also picked up 2nd Place for Best Large Tattoo for a solo thigh piece that highlighted his signature style—smooth gradients, dramatic contrast, and expert use of negative space. Both tattoos stood out among tough competition, marking a proud moment for Jose and Sly at this year’s event.
